Asian Idol is a stage of song competition with the format of idol series followed by Asian six state, that is Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapura, Philippine, Vietnam And India. According to plan, this event will be performed in Jakarta and broadcasted directly to five other Asia state by RCTI. Because one reason of, competitor from Kazakhstan cannot follow this ajang
All competitor of Asian Idol will be introduced one by one which then will contest at date of 15 December 2007 and its result will be announced by tomorrow day, 16 December 2007. Every competitor will bring 2 songs, one English-speaking song and one song again represent the song from each state, RCTI also perform the event of Asian Idol Extra which display to start 26 November up to 16 December 2007.
Every state will deliver a jury just to comment the appearance of every competitor
format Voting will follow the same concept by World Idol, where beholder will chosen 2 favorite competitor by passing SMS. Result Voting of each state will be calculated by pursuant to sequence ranking. Champion will be determined by pursuant to result of vote beholder as much 50% and result of decision of grand jury as much 50%.
